Forum of Federations MENA signs partnership with Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) for “Empowering Women for Leadership Roles in the MENA …Region: Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco” in Tunisia.
On February 7, 2018, Leila Haouaoui, Regional Director for the Forum of Federations met with Soukeina Bouraoui, CEO of the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) to sign a partnership agreement between the Forum and CAWTAR.
This agreement formalizes the partnership between the organizations in the context of the Forum’s project “Empowering Women for Leadership Roles in the MENA Region: Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco” which aims to promote gender-inclusive governance.
In Tunisia, CAWTAR will be offering training sessions in Transformative Leadership to female parliamentarians, as well as training of trainers in Gender and Transformative Leadership. On the regional level, CAWTAR will also produce a study that will explore examples of female leadership at the local level in Tunisia, Jordan, and Morocco.
