AWO will be organizing 12 seminars for 420 women leaders (members of local councils & heads of CBOs) in Jordan for the Forum of Federations MENA’s project entitled “Empowering Women for Leadership Roles in the MENA Region”. The seminars will address familiarity with laws, civic education, social media & perceptions of women leadership.

The launch was attended by the management of Arab Women Organization of Jordan – AWO, Forum of Federations MENA team Sawsan Tawil and Haneen Mraiyan, a representative from Moppa https://www.facebook.com/moppa.gov.jo/?fref=mentions and members of municipalities from four governorates.

This agreement is in relation to Forum of Federations MENA project in Jordan which is funded by Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada
