Organized jointly by Forum of Federations MENA Embassy of Canada to Tunisia Center of Arab Women for Training and Research-CAWTAR
FemParl 2020 held multiple events with women MPS and activists in Tunisia.
After all the sessions and workshops were complete, this important event concluded with the following recommendations:
1. Strengthening the role of the media in the fight against all forms of violence.
2. Strengthening coordination between the actions of government and civil society.
3. Consider the regulatory framework as a fundamental element even if the application does not follow.
4. Consider the SDGs as a development opportunity and not a challenge.
This annual event to promote gender equality and women empowerment was funded by Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada
