On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Forum of Federations, the Forum is pleased to launch its new Report on Gender Equality and
Federalism.


The Report examines the complex gender dynamics in federal and decentralized countries, and identifies the advantages and limitations that multilevel systems present in the context of advancing gender equality in critical areas of women’s lives.


Christine Forster will present the main findings and recommendations derived from her analysis. Join distinguished panellists the Honourable Karina Gould, Minister of International Development, Canada, and the Honourable Muferihat Kamil Ahmed, Minister of Peace, Ethiopia. They will reflect on the contribution of the Report and assess the implications for policymakers working to advance gender equality globally.
