Germany explores projects with Forum

Forum President George Anderson recently met with German officials in Berlin to discuss the partnership between the Forum of Federations and the German government. He met with State Secretary Erich Stather, of the Ministry of Economic Coooperation and Development; and Dr. Bernhard Beus, State Secretary with the Federal Chancellery.

Mr. Anderson, who was accompanied by Felix Knüpling, the Forum's director of Europe programs, also discussed possible joint projects in Africa and Southeast Asia with Germanye's international development agency, Gesellschaft für technische Zusammenarbeit.

The meetings took place on Oct. 30, 2007.
