Youth Summer Session on Federalism 2002The Forum launched its inaugural study and travel program in 2002 where young people interested in federalism learned about various governmental structures and mechanisms in federal systems. The session, which took place from 11-24 August, 2002, included field trips to Ottawa, to Toronto in the Canadian province of Ontario, to the US state of Maryland, to Washington DC, and to Brussels, Belgium. The program is now an annual event for youth to gain practical, hands-on experience in the area of federalism. Email the Program Manager. |
