Information for Facilitators

Theme co-ordinators
We select one or two leading experts for each Global Dialogue theme to act as a theme co-ordinator.

The theme co-ordinator:

  • recommends approximately 12 countries for the theme
  • prepares a theme template of cross-cutting comparative questions on the topic of the theme
  • organizes and hosts the International Roundtable
  • writes the comparative chapters for the program publications
  • edits the theme book
  • recommends one or two experts from each country to act as country co-ordinator(s)

Country co-ordinators
For each of the 12 countries in the theme, we choose a country co-ordinator.

Each country co-ordinator:

  • organizes and hosts one roundtable in their own country
  • participates in the international roundtable
  • writes the chapter on their country for the booklet and the book on that theme

Global Dialogue is a joint project of the Forum of Federations and the International Association of Centers of Federal Studies.
