Information for Participants

Information for Participants
The Global Dialogue program is comprised of three types of events:

  1. country roundtables
  2. international roundtables
  3. publication launches.

These events allow participants to learn by sharing their expertise and making new contacts.

Country Roundtables
A country roundtable is a one-day event where a small group of participants (10 to 20) identify current and emerging issues. The country coordinator uses the dialogue to identify key questions of international relevance for examination at international roundtable.

International Roundtable
An international roundtable is a multi-day international event of country coordinators and representatives from each country roundtable. Participants engage in an international dialogue, responding to questions, learning about new trends and comparing their experiences in different countries.

Publication Launch
After the country and international roundtables are held on a theme, lessons from the dialogue process are captured in theme books and booklets.
To learn more about our coming Global Dialogue events and to read about past events, please see our events page.

Global Dialogue is a joint project of the Forum of Federations and the International Association of Centers of Federal Studies.
