Global Dialogue Publications

Global Dialogue roundtables held in each country and the international roundtable are summarized in publications that reflect the particular Global Dialogue theme. Each volume focuses on a crucial dimension of federal governance through case studies of countries that illustrate federalism's diversity, challenges, and opportunities.

The publications are used:

  • as a comparative tool for practitioners of federalism
  • as preparatory material for the international conferences on federalism
  • as a resource for scholars and students of political science, law and other disciplines with an interest in federalism

The publications include a theme booklet and book. The booklet provides highlights, key insights and issues raised at the country roundtables. In the book, authors are able to explore a given theme in greater detail. This dual presentation of books and booklets, in the words of a reviewer, 'creates a perfect reference on the subject of federalism.'
- JULIAN THOMAS HOTTINGER, Revue Internationale de Politique Comparée, Vol. 12, n°4, 2005
