Senior Sudanese official gives his support to Forum’s Sudan project

Photo: Mr. Salah Babbikir Mohammed (right), General Secretary of Sudan’s Ministry of Federal Governance, met recently in Sudan with Todd Dusenbery, the Forum’s Sudan Program Manager, to discuss the Forum’s work there.

Mr. Salah Babbikir was recently appointed Secretary General of Sudan’s Ministry of Federal Governance. He met in Sudan with Todd Dusenbery, the Forum’s Sudan program manager, and voiced his ministry’s full support for the Forum’s project there, titled Federal Governance and Peace in Sudan. Mr. Babbikir was appointed to the position on June 3, 2009.

Forum signs training agreement with Indian Institute

The Forum of Federations and the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) recently agreed to organize a series of activities together.

The Forum of Federations’ president and its co-founder recently joined federalism experts from Canada, Germany and Switzerland in Zaragoza to share their knowledge of intergovernmental relations with their Spanish counterparts.
