(L-R) Arthur Benz (University of Darmstadt), Rudolf Hrbek (European Centre for the Research on Federalism EZFF) and Reinold Herber from the Forum meet during the congress of the German Political Science Association.
On September 27, 2012, German scholars founded a research group on federalism at the margins of the annual congress of the German Political Science Association held at the University of TÃ¼bingen.
The Forum of Federations was represented at the meeting by Reinold Herber, Senior Advisor.
The group aims at:
* advancing comparative research on federalism;
* creating a platform for feeding research on federalism into the political process; and
* networking with other German and international research groups on federalism (IPSA, ECPR, and others) as well as with the Forum of Federations.
The group is headed by Nathalie Behnke (University of Konstanz), Arthur Benz and JÃ¶rg Broschek (Technical University of Darmstadt) and Sabine Kropp (University of Speyer).
