Forum to organize health care conference with Australians

The Forum signed a partnership agreement with the South Australian government and the Menzies Centre for Health Policy to organize a national conference on health care in Australia with international experts from other federal countries. The Forum will provide Australian stakeholders with access to comparative experiences in the management and reform of health care in other federal countries. The Menzies Centre is working with the Forum to produce an issues paper on Australian health care and a series of fact sheets on select federations. Rupak Chattopadhyay, the Forum’s Asia-Pacific region director, was the Forum representative in the meeting, which took place in Sydney from Feb. 26 28, 2007.
