The first 22 Iraqi professors are equipped with knowledge of federalism for teaching courses

Forum experts and local ambassadors conducted federalism training for 22 Iraqi professors of law and political science in Amman, Jordan. The course, held from June 18 to July 5, 2007, is part of a two-year $2 million project funded by the Canadian International Development Agency. In addition to classes led by the Forum of Federations team, expertise was also provided by R. Dayakar, Indian Ambassador to Jordan; Paul Widmer, Swiss Ambassador to Jordan; Jeroen Vergeylen, Chargé d’Affaires of Belgium to Iraq; and Nicolas Haysom, UNAMI Head of the Office for Constitutional Support.
