Country and Regional Programs are demand-led initiatives designed to respond directly to priorities identified by country partners and donors. They support policy development and the reform of governance systems in both established and emerging federal and multilevel countries. A core objective across all Country and Regional Programs is to increase stakeholder understanding of multilevel governance structures, processes, and procedures, while building the capacity of institutions and actors to participate effectively in federal, decentralized, and devolved governance systems.
Drawing on the Forum’s extensive store of applied comparative knowledge, these programs translate global experience into context-specific solutions. They typically combine capacity enhancement, the provision of technical expertise, and the facilitation of dialogue processes.
