The purpose of this program is to create a dialogue between Canadian and Indian policy makers around their understanding of the impact of federalism on nature of the Canadian/Indian justice and prosecutorial system as it relates to free speech/hate speech/sedition/terrorism and to advance an understanding of the impact of federalism on trade policy. The project is supported by Global Affairs Canada and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs who has designated the Observer Research Foundation as the Indian counterpart for the Forum to work with. A number of bilateral dialogues will be organized in Canada and India, as well as hosting a study tour to Canada for Indian journalists.
